Your expertise no longer limits what you can build. After two decades in digital products, I help professionals build and manage their own AI agents, with practical, step-by-step how-to guides.
In Part 1, you built the skill that writes your copy. In Part 2, you used a coding agent to build and publish the page. Now you bring the two together.
In Part 3, you start building a marketing agent that can take a brief and run the whole job for you. You set it up to create landing pages first. From then on, you hand it a brief and review the result.
By the end of this guide, you'll:
Set up the three files that form the foundation of your marketing agent.
Build its first version and the two agents it delegates to.
Create a landing page from a single brief.
Note: This is Part 3 of a three-part guide. You'll need your copy skill from Part 1 and your project from Part 2. You'll set up the agent in Claude Cowork or ChatGPT Work, then build it in Claude Code or Codex.
How does your marketing agent work?
Your marketing agent follows the same structure as the agent from the Agents guide (Codex ยท Claude). It has one clear role, a goal, and the skills and tools it needs to reach that goal.
For landing pages, it doesn't do the work alone. It reads your brief and delegates the work to two other agents. A writing agent writes the copy, and a coding agent builds and publishes the page. The marketing agent coordinates the two.
How much the marketing agent does on its own is up to you. Start by approving each page before it goes live. Then give the agent more room as you learn to trust it.
The Agents guide recommends starting with one agent because a team adds complexity. Here, the split is worth it because writing and building benefit from different models. The writing agent uses a lighter model: Sonnet in Claude or Terra in ChatGPT. The coding agent uses a stronger model: Opus in Claude or Sol in ChatGPT. Matching each model to the job gives you better output at a lower cost.
Like any agent, your marketing agent is defined by three files:
AGENT.md defines its role and behavior.
USER.md describes who you are.
TOOLS.md lists what the agent can access.
Note:AGENT.md defines the marketing agent's role. It is not the CLAUDE.md or AGENTS.md recipe you saved in Part 2, which tells the coding agent how to build a page.
